Why does Dalya need my calendar?

To find free time, Dalya reads your events, and it adds the ones you accept. This all happens on your device, through Apple’s calendar. Without calendar access, Dalya can’t suggest a time. You can turn it back on in Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars.

Does Dalya work offline?

Yes. Finding a time, adding events and understanding what you type all happen on your device. Only two things need a connection: looking up a place (Apple Maps) and the weather for outdoor plans (Apple Weather). Offline, you just won’t see those.

Do I need the other permissions?

No. Contacts, microphone and location are optional. Without them you type instead of speak, and won’t see nearby places or weather.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. Everything Dalya stored is removed with it. Events Dalya added to your calendar stay in your calendar, and you can remove them there like any other event.

Does Dalya have an account or collect data?

No. There are no accounts and no Dalya servers. Read the privacy policy for the details.
